Mechanical seal A special type of mechanical seal. It is also known by other names. Life seals, floating seals, bilateral seals, toric seals, heavy equipment seals.
There are two types of mechanical face seals / heavy duty seals:
In both types, two loops of identical metal seals are attached to two separate boxes facing each other on the wrapped seals. The metal ring inside the housing is centered by a flexible element. Half of the mechanical face seal is attached to the housing and the other half is rotated with the front.
