Floating seals are simple products consisting of two components: a seal ring made of special cast iron and a rubber part (O-ring / gasket). Two identical seals are used. The sealing component, which is a sliding component, is supported by a rubber component so it does not come into contact with the shaft, so it closely follows the radial and propulsive motion of the shaft.

The rubber parts suppress the sliding surface of the seal ring and also act as a seal. Therefore, long life is made of materials that are resistant to low temperatures and heat, with very low compression settings.
